Instruction in the real paper: “Identify the error and rewrite the correct form of the following sentences.” यानी सिर्फ गलती बताना काफ़ी नहीं — पूरा सही वाक्य लिखना है।

Paper में list नहीं पूछी जाती — वाक्य दिया जाता है, दो expressions में से सही चुनकर वाक्य फिर से लिखना होता है। जैसे RAS 2023: “The army got discouraged and gave in/gave upon before the opponents.” → gave in.
RAS questions में word precision महत्वपूर्ण है: सही confused word चुनना, synonym/antonym पहचानना और पूरा meaningful sentence बनाना।

The thoughtless, the ignorant and the indolent, seeing only the apparent effect of things and not the things themselves, talk of luck, of fortune and chance. Seeing a man grow rich, they say, “How lucky he is!” Observing another become intellectual, they exclaim, “How highly favoured he is!” And noting the saintly character and wide influence of someone else, they remark, “How chance aids him at every turn!” They do not see the trials and failures and struggles which these men have voluntarily encountered in order to gain their experience; have no knowledge of the sacrifices they have made, of the undaunted efforts they have put forth, of the faith they have exercised, that they might overcome the apparently insurmountable and realise the vision of their heart. They do not know the darkness and the heartaches; they only see the light and joy, and call it “luck”; do not see the long and arduous journey, but only behold the pleasant goal, and call it “good fortune”; do not understand the process, but only perceive the result, and call it “chance”. In all human affairs there are efforts and there are results, and the strength of the effort is the measure of the result. Chance is not. Gifts, powers, material, intellectual and spiritual possessions are the fruits of effort — they are thoughts completed, objects accomplished, visions realized.
Real instruction (2023): “Make a précis of the following passage in about one-third of its length.” Topic था cryptocurrency। नए syllabus में précis comprehension वाले passage का ही होगा (~100 words)।
Superficial observers attribute others' wealth, intellect or influence to luck and chance. They ignore the trials, sacrifices and undaunted efforts behind every achievement, seeing only the pleasant result. In truth, chance does not govern human affairs: every possession — material, intellectual or spiritual — is the fruit of effort, and the strength of the effort is the measure of the result. (≈62 words for a ~190-word passage — exactly one-third.)

Cryptocurrency is a digital currency that is rapidly changing the investment market: more than 13,000 currencies exist today. Its supporters call it the money of the future — decentralised, fast and free from banks. Its critics point to wild price swings, its use in illegal transactions, and enormous electricity consumption. Governments across the world are therefore struggling to decide whether to ban cryptocurrencies, regulate them strictly, or launch official digital currencies of their own. India has chosen a middle path: heavy taxation of private crypto gains along with a pilot of the Reserve Bank's own digital rupee. (~100 words)
Cryptocurrency, a fast-growing decentralised digital money, divides opinion: admirers see the future of finance, while critics cite volatility, misuse and power consumption. Governments respond variously — bans, regulation or official digital currencies — and India taxes private crypto heavily while piloting its own digital rupee. (45 words)
असली paper के वाक्य किताबी नहीं, प्रशासनिक और साहित्यिक होते हैं — निर्देश, भावनाएँ, नीति-वाक्य। पहले खुद लिखो, फिर model से मिलाओ।

Freedom of speech is the right to express one's opinions without fear, and it is the foundation of a dignified life and a vibrant democracy. Democracy, as Lincoln said, is government of, by and for the people — and without the power to speak, question and criticise, people cannot truly participate in public affairs. Free expression allows citizens to expose injustice, artists to create, and the press to hold governments accountable. Yet this freedom has come under threat with the rise of authoritarian tendencies, and it is never absolute: reasonable restrictions protect law and order, national security and the dignity of others. The health of a society lies in the balance — a state strong enough to maintain order, yet humble enough to hear its critics. Protecting this balance is the duty of every citizen and every government. (≈140 words)

RAS 2023 की जाँची हुई answer-book (Rank 15) का विश्लेषण। ये सात सबक portal के हर module में बुने गए हैं:
Grammar में हर उत्तर पूरा वाक्य लिखकर ही मिलता है। सिर्फ सही शब्द लिखने का पैटर्न risky है।
"uninhibited" (uninhabited की जगह) ने 0.25 काटा। Vocabulary उत्तर में गलत spelling = 0 का खतरा।
"dognap" चुनकर perfectly लिखा वाक्य भी 0 लाया। पहले choice पक्की करो, फिर लिखो।
Comprehension में अधूरे उत्तर पर 1.5/2 मिला। कोई प्रश्न खाली मत छोड़ो — कुछ न कुछ ज़रूर मिलता है।
"Intellectual" ≈ सही लगा पर exact नहीं था → 0। One-word substitutes में synonym नहीं, the word चाहिए।
Topper हर उत्तर में मुख्य शब्द underline करता है — evaluator को उत्तर 5 सेकंड में दिखता है।
Letter/report में layout के अंक content से पहले मिल जाते हैं। चारों formats का ढांचा रट लो।
English में negative marking नहीं है। 70 में से हर छूटा प्रश्न सीधा नुकसान है।
